How many people does your venue hold?
Our max occupancy is 300 people including your vendors.
Do you have any exclusive vendors?
Yes, we have an exclusive partnership with Southern Way Catering. We also have a preferred vendor list that often offer School House incentives! If you would like to work with an outside vendor not on our preferred vendor list, we just ask they are approved by our School House Team.
Do you hold multiple events per day?
For weddings, your event is contractually exclusive to that day. For smaller events and styled shoots, session times, availability, and bookings per day may vary.
Will we receive discounts for using the vendors on your preferred vendor list?
Most of the vendors on our preferred vendor list offer exclusive incentives* to booked School House couples.
*Incentives may vary by vendor.
Do we have to use the included mix-matched chairs upstairs for our ceremony?
We hold a special place in our hearts for our mix-matched chairs, and while we love them, we understand they are not everyone’s cup of tea. With that being said, if you want them removed our staff will gladly do that for you. A flip fee/reconfiguration fee will apply.
What furniture is included with The School House?
School House complimentary furniture includes the following:
- 3 black banquet tables with black linens for catering purposes
- 3 bar options
- 3 cocktail tables
- 15 farmhouse tables (8ft long)
- 150 x-back chairs for downstairs + outdoor use
- 150 mix-matched chairs for upstairs use + 2 pews
- trashcans + trash bags
- all paper products
What amenities does The School House offer?
School House offers the following amenities:
- 2-hour rehearsal walk-through
- 9am to 11pm rental
- outdoor or indoor ceremony
- site seating set up
- tables + chairs + ivory runners (furniture to accommodate 150 guests)
- 3 site location choices for ceremony
- 3 site location choices for reception
- The School House day of coordinator
- private bridal suite
- private groom’s suite
- outside patio porch + string lights
- outside or inside bar

- The School House on-site day-of manager
- use of facility for 2-hour photo session (bridals, engagements, etc)
Are we allowed to get ready at the venue?
Yes! In fact, we encourage it! The owners designed a beautiful bridal suite with ample natural & vanity lighting. We also have a groom’s suite, but both suites are designed to be gender-neutral.
Can we have a live band here?
Yes, we welcome both live bands and DJs, whichever you prefer for your special day.
Do we get to have our rehearsal at the venue?
Yes, we include a rehearsal walk-through in your booking. This rehearsal walk-through day and time will be assigned to you by our team 30 days before your wedding day. Our goal is to schedule your walk-through the day before your wedding, however, if another event is booked these dates and times will vary. Please note that your rehearsal walk-through is different from your rehearsal dinner. We can book rehearsal dinners at The School House pending availability. Please inquire about rehearsal dinner pricing.
Do you include any School House staff with booking your venue?
Yes, we include a Day of Manager who manages the venue and helps assist your guest with parking, the handicapped elevator, etc. We also include a Day of Coordinator who works with you 30 days out from your wedding to help you create a timeline and a floor plan, run your rehearsal, and are there for the entire day of your wedding.
Do you guys set up our decor?
We set up and execute your School House + Borrowed Branch rental furniture only. Rest assured, we do provide set up and break down services as well as additional planning and design services if desired.
Do you guys allow sparklers?
Yes, we do provide a sparker service for your guests, provide all items necessary, execute, and clean up for a small fee.
Am I allowed to have my outside rentals delivered and picked up on the days leading up to my wedding?
Unless you purchase our Pre-Access add-on, you have an access period of 9am-11pm for all items to be dropped off at the venue and picked back up. This is discussed on a case-by-case basis per weekend availability.
May my guests leave their cars on the property after my wedding?
No, all cars must be off of the property at the access period end time of 11pm. The good news is Uber and Lyft drop-off and pick-up at our venue.
